The unconstitutional manner in which they operate, their lack of basic training and care for the human beings in their custody, and the deep way they have violated our country's trust make the organization fundamentally broken and impossible to rebuild.

Immigration Reform: We need comprehensive immigration reform and a pathway to citizenship for millions of hardworking undocumented immigrants who are the embodiment of the American Dream. John Paul would support the DREAM Act, which he worked on as a congressional fellow many years ago. It would provide a pathway for the DACA kids, then he would push for citizenship for their parents.
